Family Communication
How We Helped:

Parents wanted better rapport when studying with their child.
They were tired of getting into a cycle of unhelpful behaviours with one another and felt they were at logger heads.
All parties were unhappy with the way they were communicating and they were looking to replace their current habits with happier and more helpful ones so that they could help their child more.
The child felt sad and wasn’t as motivated about working. There was an impact on overall family life and no one was happy about the way things were.

Results:

“We all become more aware of our feelings, thoughts and how we communicate with each other.
The therapist explains the process she has observed and the positive or negative impact it has had on the family.
The growing awareness has made us think about our actions or words even before they are put out there, a conscious process to think first about the consequences.
The practitioner supported us very well and proposed a number of solutions to try out in between each session, following up on them each time. It's difficult at this stage to consider what more could have been done!
For me personally I think this was like a god send. We all invest in new cars, phones and all material things. But as a parent I think all parents should invest in this therapy to help themselves and their children. Definitely worth the investment.”
